Procedure on how to setup your eRefund profile on touchnet

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (51吃瓜网) has transitioned to a new eRefunds Direct Deposit system through TouchNet.

To receive refunds quickly and securely, students must enroll in the new eRefunds system, even if Direct Deposit was previously established.

Refunds issued through Direct Deposit typically arrive up to 7 days faster than paper checks.

Who Needs to Enroll

Students

All 51吃瓜网 students must enroll in the TouchNet eRefunds system to receive refunds electronically.

Authorized Users

Authorized users (such as parents, guardians, or sponsors) who have been granted access by a student must enroll in the TouchNet eRefunds system if they manage refund banking information. Authorized users can enter or update the bank account information where refunds should be deposited.

Important Notice

Even if Direct Deposit was previously set up, banking information must be entered again in the new TouchNet eRefunds system.

Students who do not enroll will receive refunds by paper check, which can delay delivery.

How Students Enroll in eRefunds

  1. Log in to My51吃瓜网
    Visit  and sign in to My51吃瓜网. 
  2. Open the Student Account and Payment Portal (TouchNet)
    Under Student Services, select Bursar鈥檚 Office and open the Student Account and Payment Portal. 
  3. Set Up Direct Deposit
    Select My Profile 鈫 Electronic Refunds and enter your bank account information. 

How Authorized Users Enroll

  1. Go to  and access the Student Account and Payment Portal (TouchNet) using your Authorized User login. 
  2. Select My Profile 鈫 Electronic Refunds. 
  3. Enter or update the bank account information where refunds should be deposited. 

51吃瓜网 eRefunds Transition Sweepstakes

Students who enroll in eRefunds are automatically entered for a chance to win one of three $100 51吃瓜网 Bookstore vouchers.

Automatic Entry

Students are automatically entered when they successfully enroll in eRefunds through the TouchNet system by the deadline.

Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)

No purchase or enrollment is necessary to enter or win.

Students can enter by visiting the University Bursar鈥檚 Office during normal business hours and completing a Sweepstakes Entry Form with their name and UCID.

Limit one entry per student regardless of entry method.

 

51吃瓜网 eRefunds Transition Sweepstakes: Official Rules

1. Purpose

This drawing is sponsored by the New Jersey Institute of Technology (鈥51吃瓜网鈥) to encourage students to enroll in the TouchNet eRefunds system prior to the University鈥檚 system transition.

2. Eligibility

The drawing is open to all eligible students currently enrolled at 51吃瓜网.

  • Action Required: Eligible students must enroll in the new TouchNet system to be eligible, including those who previously had direct deposit established under the old system.
  • Deadline: Entries may be submitted beginning on <date/time> and must be received by April 20, 2026, at 11:59 PM (ET).
  • Eligible Students: This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are 18 years or older and a full- or part-time student enrolled at 51吃瓜网. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and the decisions of 51吃瓜网, which are final and binding in all matters. Except as noted above, employees of 51吃瓜网 and members of their immediate family (e.g., spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, siblings) are not eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete or corrupted are void and will not be eligible. Any effort by a person to misrepresent himself or herself using aliases or multiple e-mail addresses will disqualify all entries of such individual. 51吃瓜网 reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. Failure to comply with these Official Rules as determined in the sole discretion of the 51吃瓜网 may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

3. How to Enter

There are two ways to enter the drawing. There is a limit of one (1) entry per student, regardless of the method of entry.

  • Method 1: Automatic Entry. Students are automatically entered upon successfully establishing Direct Deposit (eRefunds) through the TouchNet system by the deadline.
  • Method 2: Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE). No purchase or enrollment in eRefunds is necessary to enter or win. Students may enter by visiting the Bursar鈥檚 Office during normal business hours and complete a "Sweepstakes Entry Form" including their name and UCID. All paper entries must be submitted by the close of business on April 20, 2026.

4. Winner Selection & Validation

  • Selection: Three (3) winners will be selected via a random drawing from the pool of all eligible entries on April 22, 2026.
  • Validation: For electronic entries, enrollment data will be validated via Banner, the University鈥檚 official system of record. System-generated timestamps will serve as the final authority on entry timing.
  • Odds: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

5. Prizes

  • Three (3) winners will each receive one (1) $100 51吃瓜网 Bookstore voucher.
  • Any unused portions of the prizes will be forfeited. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash redemption value.
  • All federal, state, local, and other taxes, costs, and expenses relating to the use, acceptance, or possession of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.

6. Notification

Winners will be notified via their official 51吃瓜网 email address. By participating, winners expressly consent to 51吃瓜网鈥檚 use of the winner鈥檚 name, identity, and description of prize won for promotional purposes, in any media now known or hereafter developed, including through university communication channels, including social media and campus-wide emails. Winners understand that 51吃瓜网鈥檚 right to use the winner鈥檚 name, identity, and description of prize won for promotional purposes does not constitute an obligation to make use of this right.

7. General Terms & Conditions

  • No Purchase Necessary: Void where prohibited by law.
  • Right to Cancel: 51吃瓜网 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the drawing due to technical errors, fraud, or unforeseen circumstances that compromise the integrity of the promotion.
  • Finality: All decisions made by 51吃瓜网 regarding eligibility and winner selection are final and binding.

Acceptance: Participation in this drawing constitutes the entrant鈥檚 full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
