Food insecurity – the lack of reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food – is common at colleges and universities across the country, potentially undermining the educational success of untold thousands of students.
A 2016 study from the found that 48% of college students had experienced some type of food insecurity within 30 days of being surveyed, with 22 percent qualifying as "hungry" due to low levels of meal stability. Food is not something any student should have to worry about, but many still do.

Please donate non-perishable and unexpired food items to the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Food Pantry during Homecoming. This year, donations for the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Food Pantry will be collected in the lobby of the campus center. Please leave a note with your name inside the bag if you would like to be recognized for your contributions.
