Teacher Prep Program in Forensic Science
The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Forensic Science Initiative (FSI) Teacher Prep Program ran as a stand-alone program for 4 years to help teachers prepare to teach Forensic Science to high school students. Teachers completing the program became qualified to teach FRSC 201 Introduction to Forensic Science as a dual enrollment course using an enhanced 51³Ô¹ÏÍø syllabus.
In addition to continuing as a vibrant community of professional learners, the FSI teachers now share their techniques with fellow teachers in all disciplines as master coaches in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pre-College Teacher Prep for Options Courses (TPOC) Program.
Teachers who are new to teaching an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Forensic Science course will become part of the Teacher Prep for Options Courses (TPOC) Program.
