After 51³Ô¹ÏÍø reviews all the required application documents, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø will mail you an acceptance letter and the DS-Form 2019. These documents will be used to obtain the J-1 visa at the U.S. embassy or consulate in your home country. Details about how to apply for a visa can be found (scroll down the page).

After you receive your acceptance letter, you can (UCID). The UCID is your access to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's computer services. You will need your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Student ID number to create the UCID. Your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Student ID number will be on your acceptance letter. Once you have your UCID, you can apply for on campus housing and select a meal plan.
It is highly recommended that you live in an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø residence hall due to convenience, safety, and community-building considerations. You are also permitted to live off campus. For information about on- and off-campus housing click .
